DriveClear Jamaica Service Authorization
This authorization explains what you permit DriveClear to do when you ask us to check, organize, or administratively resolve your Jamaican traffic-ticket matters.
Version driveclear-account-legal-v5 · Effective September 24, 2026
1. Your authorization
When you request a DriveClear traffic-ticket check or resolution service, you authorize DriveClear to use the identifying and case information you provide for the specific service you selected.
This can include your name, contact details, date of birth, TRN or driver-licence information, licence control information, ticket identifiers, court details, documents, and other information reasonably necessary to perform the service.
2. Traffic-ticket inquiries
You authorize DriveClear to submit the information required by the applicable traffic-ticket information source to retrieve records associated with you and to store the returned ticket information in your DriveClear profile or case.
Where DriveClear's secure operational credential storage is configured, the driver-licence number or TRN, licence control number, and original licence issue date used for the lookup may be retained in encrypted form so they are available if you later ask DriveClear to continue with ticket-resolution work. These identifiers are restricted to authorized operational use and are not displayed in ordinary lead or customer lists.
If you separately activate and maintain an ACTIVE paid DriveClear Monitoring subscription, the credentials needed for future automated checks may also be retained under the Monitoring security controls described in the Privacy Statement.
Without an ACTIVE Monitoring subscription, DriveClear does not automatically rerun your traffic-ticket check or send Monitoring deadline/change reminders. You may sign in and run a fresh check manually when you want updated results.
3. Administrative case actions
For a paid resolution case, you authorize DriveClear to organize the returned ticket information, create and maintain your case file, prepare quotes and invoices, request additional information or documents, track deadlines and status, and communicate with you about the matter.
You also authorize DriveClear to prepare controlled operational work orders containing the identity and driver information reasonably necessary for authorized staff to make administrative inquiries, obtain official ticket or police records, attend the relevant court/cashier where applicable, process an approved official payment, and return the resulting receipt or reference to DriveClear for reconciliation.
You authorize DriveClear to make reasonable administrative inquiries and contacts with relevant government offices, courts, service providers, and other entities where necessary to carry out the requested administrative service.
4. Warrant investigation
You understand that a traffic-ticket lookup does not itself confirm a warrant. Where DriveClear identifies a matter that requires warrant investigation, you authorize DriveClear to coordinate a separate warrant-status inquiry using the information necessary for that purpose.
A warrant is only treated as confirmed when the separate investigation produces a recorded confirmation. The applicable warrant-check and warrant-resolution fees are described in the Fees & Refunds Policy and in your case quote.
5. Court and attorney coordination
You authorize DriveClear to organize and transmit relevant case information to a court, government office, or independently engaged attorney when reasonably necessary for the service you have requested and when the disclosure is permitted by the Privacy Statement and applicable law.
This authorization does not appoint DriveClear as your attorney, does not authorize DriveClear staff to give legal advice, and does not authorize DriveClear to enter a plea or make a legal representation on your behalf where a licensed attorney or your personal participation is legally required.
6. Payments and official amounts
Where your quote or case requires payment, you authorize DriveClear to create payment records, invoices, receipts, and settlement records for the amounts you approve. Government or court amounts, DriveClear service fees, attorney professional fees, and other third-party amounts must remain separately identified.
If DriveClear is authorized to collect funds intended for a government authority, court, attorney, or other third party, that collection does not by itself mean the third party has received or accepted the payment. DriveClear will record confirmation when available.
You authorize DriveClear to present one customer checkout for separately itemized amounts where an approved online-payment method is available. Even when one provider transaction is used, DriveClear must keep its service revenue and government/court or other onward funds separately categorized in its internal financial records.
7. Documents and communications
You authorize DriveClear to store documents you submit and to use those documents for the case to which they are attached. You are responsible for ensuring that documents you provide are genuine and that you have the right to provide them.
You authorize DriveClear to send service communications electronically in accordance with the E‑Sign Disclosure.
8. Limits of this authorization
This authorization is limited to the DriveClear services you request. It does not permit DriveClear to use your information for unrelated marketing without separate marketing permission, to sell your information to advertisers, or to take legal action in your name without the authority required by law.
9. Duration and withdrawal
This authorization remains effective while DriveClear is performing the requested service and for the limited follow-up needed to complete records, accounting, disputes, security, or legal obligations.
You may ask DriveClear to stop future administrative work. Withdrawal does not undo actions already completed, payments already remitted, records that must be retained, or obligations already incurred. Refund eligibility is governed by the Fees & Refunds Policy.
10. Your confirmation
By accepting the current DriveClear legal package, you confirm that the information you provide for the service is yours or that you are lawfully authorized to act for the person concerned, and that you authorize the activities described above.
11. Company and fleet accounts
If you use a DriveClear company or fleet workspace, you authorize DriveClear to maintain the organization, driver roster, check-request, compliance-status, and related service records needed to provide the requested fleet service.
You confirm that your organization has a lawful basis and appropriate authority to submit each driver's information, request checks, and receive the resulting administrative compliance information. DriveClear may require additional driver or organization authorization before a lookup is performed.
